Wasn't hard to predict consider the way Giggs spoke at the pre match press conference before 2nd leg against munich compared to the ways moyes spoke. Moyes was full of respect for the current champions league holders, giggs undermined moyes by simply saying we are Manchester united we don't fear no one. It reminded me of the press conference when chavski announced di matteo as manager and john terry took control of the press conference. I wouldn't be surprised if mourinho doesn't get rid of terry this summer, then terry will be the interim chelski manager this time next year. As Quartz said Moyes is the Bruce Rioch go between. United were waiting for the manager they really wanted, and van Gaal does seem to be the man. Although, I reckon Giggs will be the British Pep Guardiola.clockender1 wrote:Henry Winter has a piece saying Giggs is the right man for the job.
reading through it, it would seem that Giggs had the power & knowledge to totally undermine Moyes if he had wanted.
my read is that Giggs could be a catastrophe in the making for them. but he has three games to set the team up with no pressure.
were i the United Board i'd go for Ancelotti - only 54 but the strongest track record.
lets see how impatient and really cash strapped the glazers are....
Also, I don't think anyone has pointed out that of the 6 points utd won against the top 6, 4 of them were against us. Not only are we worse than utd, it was Moyes' utd. That's fucking embarrassing.
