however presumably a lot of people going to the Emirates will go in the pubs before hand like on a match day.
won't they then empty out quite considerably? just wondering whether it might be possible to hit one of the pubs late on after all.
Would only work on a "no ticket" pub..anyone who buys a ticket for the Grove will be unlikely to buy one for one of the ticket only pubs...so maybe it would work for you. 3.30 to 4.00 pm would be the crunch time..
thats what I am thinking because most of the pubs appear to be first come, first served and not ticket only.
so yes the pubs will be rammed early on, but if 25,000 then head into the Emirates..

Expect the pubs on Hollway Road will be rammed early.
Decided to head to Camden Town. Should be a decent atmosphere there, but pretty comfortable in respect to getting served.
I anticipate I'll need a good few beers before the game to settle the nerves......

Its not going to be like that. The emirates opens at 3pm, so the fans will be queuing to get in because there's no allocated seats in the ground its first come first served. Also thousands of gooners have missed out on tickets and don't want to go to the screening.

Any of the usual matchday pubs will be rammed from 1:30-2pm onwards. I wouldn't be surprised if there's in the region of 40-50,000 gooners in the area especially after the game when there could be a massive party!

ok looks like I will have to persuade my mates to get to the pub a bit earlier then!
that is basically the problem though with first come, first served - it doesnt allow for any latecomers, unlike a ticketed system.

Looks like the pikeys are trying to take over the globe/baker street. Lets get there early and let them fuck off to wembley.

Even if you havent got a ticket the globe will be a good place to watch the game.

I was in the Globe before the semi final- fantastic atmosphere.
Won't it go a bit dead for the cup final though once you have all headed off for Wembley about 4pm?

There will be tons of local gooners watching the game in baker street so it will still be lively. But try getting into any pub around the emirates after 1pm it will be hard work with the first come and ticket only venues. At least the globe wont be all ticket.

pretty convincing argument for the Globe but I think I want to be in the Arsenal area really so might pop there first and then head off to the Emirates whilst you lot head off to Wembley!

now that I have heard you can drink in the stands at the Emirates it becomes a more appealing option - especially given the weather forecast! I reckon it will go nuts in the area post game too.
doubt if you will need a pub - street drinking might be the way forward tomorrow evening

Looks like Hull have got most of the pubs around Wembley Park station and along Wembley Park Drive from there, most of the rest are going to be Arsenal.
