As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Appointment makes sense, as said no guarantee to succeed but established track record and high-profile name is exactly what they need.
Van Judas thing could backfire though. He'll be their main man, obviously a bit of a disruptive prick and I don't doubt that if players weren't putting their full support behind Moyes he would have been one of the instigators. If he continues to soak up 220k/w to spend half the year on the treatment table it'll be a disaster.

It will end in tears. You saw it here first, viewers.
Hope so..
Was I right about Moyes? Yes. Yes, I was.
I quote;
"Manure fans are even more whiney and fickle than most of our lot! They have also been spoiled rotten with success for a quarter of a century. If Moyes doesn't deliver a trophy in his first season they will turn on him as quickly as one's stomach would turn upon being presented with Madonna's dirty old burst hedgehog splayed wide opened right in front of your face.
I think he'll fail miserably tbh. I think 99.999% of managers would. It's an incredibly high profile job, and following in the footsteps of the most successful manager the Filth have ever had. And then there's the issue of the shower of cúnts in the dressing room that he'll inherit. Has he got the grit to deal with so many huge egos and fucktards that are so used to success? Can he impress them?
I think (and really really hope) it will all go pear shaped. "

I am made up with this appointment. He can steer the ship for us, get back into Europe, bring a philosophy with him (something we've lacked for a long time now).
He isn't the answer long term, but he's a master at setting up a team for the future. Nutcase though. We still need 5-6 new players too. Can't see us winning title for a while but I think next season will be more interesting now we've actually got a proper manager again.
