Media getting back to hating us (BT Sport Ad)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It`s a fucking ridiculously stupid and bizarre advert that will only appeal to fans of one club. What was the significance of that one game at the end of the season? Fuck all. Surely the first rule of advertising is to include as many people as possible and alienate nobody. I really don't know if I have ever seen a more vindictive or spiteful ad as this. Fuck BT and their shit coverage.

Well we did give them plenty to choose from. The three gutless batterings we suffered last season were on BT. Their pundits are the worst, the droning Michael Owen sends me comatose. The idiot David James just comes out with the most bizarre and irrational things. I didn't hear Warnock at the cup final as, if there's a choice, why choose BT? McManaman seems even handed and fair. Christ, they're all scousers! If the sport wasn't free with my broadband I wouldn't be bothering.

I couldn't of worded it any better.... and besides, who watches pointless tv ads anyway?
If some fans want to get their knickers in a twist over it they are more then welcome, I prefer to be hated by the media... its much better than being a media whore club like the chavs, shitty, manure or the scousers. It's vomit inducing the way they suck up to the British media.

Does seem a rather stupid advert though. Especially having Mourhinio and Ferdinand seemingly laughing at it. Why not include the City-Arsenal game? A game which was actually end to end and entertaining? Is it because Daniel Sturridge must now appear in every television advert?

Just massively stupid from a broadcaster.

Just seen that. BT are trying to gain viewers/popularity from almost all clubs by alienating Arsenal. Effective but cringe tactics. Fuck em.

What's worse is that the club let Ox be part of the Chelsea one.

Bet they won't show the FA Cup final on an ad but if we had most it they would have.

Should have used the Scouse Chelsea game. That was the real shock and basically the crucial game in the title race.

Why would this fat mug use Sanchez as the example? Surely he should be picking the transfer of Fabregas, a player who couldn't even get into the starting XI of the biggest flops in WC history, over a player roundly agreed to be one of the best performers at the WC?

not that important in the wider scheme of things, and you hear accusations of media bias, from scousers, mancs, chelsea spuds et all as well as us.

But this ad did irritate me a bit, I haven't forgotten the BBC FA cup titles a few years back (when they still had that) featured four - YES FOUR- FA cup goals against us in a row, Gazza, Giggs, Mickey thomas (wrexham) and Owen in the final

don't recall this happening to one team elsewhere
