ManU 750m ten year kit deal

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I think the appointment of Moyes must have cost them a fortune. In the SKY age only one or two seasons out of the running is all its needed to really affect people's perception of the top top teams. Worth bearing in kind when we complain abou t another "pointless" Champions league qualification.

Whilst the London factor is an attraction for some players, not everybody is put off by the idea of a mansion in Cheshire rather than a  busy city which they can't really enjoy properly anyway due to their profession.

How do you figure that?

They typically train for what - a few hours a day and play one or two matches per week?

They earn millions upon millions annually and have tons of free time: if anyone can enjoy a busy city it's professional athletes.
I think of all the benefits of going to London and how many of them are scuppered by not being able to chill out in the general public for sustained periods without being badgered.

Not so sure really, its more that whiskynose didnt upgrade the team especially defensively, you can hardly blame Moyes for that. The squad just basically wouldnt play for him. WIll be very interesting indeed to see how Pigface gets on there this season.

The Mousers were out of the CL for years yet still are in the "top top " teams Sky wankathon.

Incidentally HAvent BT sport got all the CL matches this season?

Also- Mods- can this thread be moved to the lets all laugh at manU thread?

I hate the mancscum *word censored* and would love to see them spiral into financial ruin...but like it or not that is one amazing deal and knocks most others into the ditch beside the road. :banghead:
