Pre season friendly at Borehamwood

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It's a preseason friendly. Their first after the summer.

Go watch loose women/Columbo or whatever sh*te there is on a Saturday afternoon if you're that bored.

I've figured out why AW won't promote Akpom,it's because when he sees a good chance,he takes it not find someone else to pass sideways to.

I thought Akpom was excellent. Frustrating that he doesn't get more chances.

Columbo and that raincoat - always cracks me up :-P probably why I am a bit anxious that Arsene won't have problems doing up his Puma jacket anymore :rubchin:

I think the second half picked up compared to the first. Hayden, Bellerin, Akpom and Olsson all had a good game and looked impressive. We scored two good goals as well.

as others have said i think Akpom loot quality and a real threat in the 2nd half, Would like to see him sent on loan at a decent level this season or given a realistic chance although i dont think that will happen this season

And rightly so! I'm hoping Arsene can coach that selfish streak right out of him. Like he did with Hleb. Cheek of the fucker, shooting when there's a sideways pass on. Bastard. :x
