Interesting that Ramsey is playing the role behind the striker with Wilshere sitting deep in midfield with Arteta, would've thought that Wenger would push Wilshere further forward.

Remember;

Gervinho scored two goals and looked incredible on his Arsenal debut in a pre-season friendly.

Just saying. Reserve judgement for when the pressure is on.

Topgoon believes AW wants to convert JW into a deep lying playmaker.

Chambers looks decent enough in his position. Seems to be aware of what's around him and alert defensively.

We need a new back up LB and quick. Wonder if Bilbao are serious about their interest,then we can go and replace him.

Good to see Koscielny getting some kip during that free-kick.

Falcao is a fucking monster. Dangerous whenever and wherever he gets the ball.

We will not win the league/Champions League until we have a beast of a defensive midfielder and a striker of Falcao's quality.

Hopefully Wenger is just doing this because he's focusing on spreading game time rather than as a tactical experiment. I can't believe he'd be thick enough to consider moving Ramsey.

And undone by two set pieces this weekend now? Worrying.

even sanogo/giroud would have been monsters with our set piece/free kick/free for all game plan

Topgoon is wondering where nutflush is right now and ask me whether I am still embarrassing with the concession of a really poor set piece goal because we won't change our defensive strategy.
We all know why we stick rigidly to stupid zonal marking regardless of the evidence against it.

In 3 preseason friendlies we have conceded 3 goals, all set piece goals. Most sane people would think that was embarrassing.

Assuming Chambers is going to be partnering Kos next week, I'd have kept him on instead of bringing Miquel
