The First 3 games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Ross Barkley apparently out for 8 weeks, injured in training - won't play against us.

9 from 9, palace will be in shock, everton haven't won in pre-season and will be still suffering from their end of season collapse, Leicester will be our hardest as they will be flying high after promotion as champions, but we will still have enough quality...

Somewhere between zero and nine. I'll stick my neck out and say 4.5

In truth we should be able to gain 9pts but I can see us only getting a draw at Goodison so 7pts it is. :barscarf:

Agree IHH, These threads are pointless

Every bloody thread on here is pointless.

I've got those other polls lined up and ready to go if only to piss off Hlebby. I've re-opened the voting too.

Gone for 5. Lord Wonga will be much more worried about CL qualification than the league and we have a couple of awkward games including a long journey against Besiktas. :(

if you are on the 6% take a bow son.

I was, chippy was  the rest of you ? - mugs

no but seriously, i point this out to note just how far we've fallen from the optimism of even the most jaded antagonistic anti-wenger fans.

The worrying thing is that it could well have been only 2 points without the luck in the first 2 games.

One of the reasons I created this thread was because I felt that there was much misplaced optimism pre season.
I would have much preferred to be wrong though.

Which I would have agreed with at the time, but you would have to say that we should have been good enough to blow palace and leicester away but we were woeful in both, and what can you say about the first 80 minutes against everton ?
