Next it will be 'How many points will we get against our rivals' followed by 'How many points over Christmas & New Year' then 'How many points will be needed to win the title' then once we're out of that it will be 'How many points from our last 10 games' etc, etc,

The worrying thing is that it could well have been only 2 points without the luck in the first 2 games.

One of the reasons I created this thread was because I felt that there was much misplaced optimism pre season.
I would have much preferred to be wrong though.

Which I would have agreed with at the time, but you would have to say that we should have been good enough to blow palace and leicester away but we were woeful in both, and what can you say about the first 80 minutes against everton ?
