As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Well, skipping past your obvious Cashley Ahole fixation I'd argue a mobile phone would have a disasterous effect upon a good old cocaine sex party. Can you imagine trying to get them bitches off the fucking phone and onto the bone? "Blah blah I just want to ring me sister Doreen blah blah blah".

Imagine The Russian Gangster had chosen the vermin rather than the chav. Jaysus....
Have to admit that thought gives me a cold sweat sometimes. I know it's been 10 years of Abramowich success but I just don't take them seriously the way I would a scum or Everton being bought.
I am probably in the minority but the fact that they have no real pedigree makes me view the trophies they pick up as artificial. The only one that really annoyed me was the champions league one and that's only that'first club in London' tag. Spurs won the first trophy in Europe by a British club. Celtic were the first to win the European cup. Over half a century later, that's all they can dine out on. F**k all else has happened to either of them since.
To answer the threads question if I had one,it wouldn't be spent on a football team. Even the Arsenal.

My sentiments exactly.
A lad that plays on my footy team is a lifelong chav fan and even he went off them when the Russian Gangster came in. He doesn't value the trophies at all because they were bought. He now travels to London to watch Charlton. Straight up. He loves London (and has family there) and their name begins with the letter "C" as does his (once) beloved chavs, so it's Charlton for him! Reckons he'll go back to the chav when the Gangster is gone. But then he is a very serious guy, very serious about things like integrity and credibility and so forth - not a common trait in your average chav fan, it must be said.

Not a common trait in general mate
Have to say I wouldn't go that far if it was Arsenal who went that way (not that I'm happy with the current set-up), but it would tarnish any further success for me.

So, to summarise, carry on Stan and Arsene
Yeah, The Arsenal are a bit too far in my heart to walk away but the chav$ model of buying trophies definitely would taint it for me too, mate. Probably why I have such fond memories of the GG era. He achieved so much with fairly limited resources (particularly player wages) and with everyone hoping he and we would fail. It just felt like he achieved far more than he had any right to do - and he did it based on guile, craft, hard work, tactical knowledge, guts and determination. So proud of him and our players for that era.
It sickens me to see small no history clubs like the chav$ and citeh just buy two first 11's of international stars each and then basically buy a trophy.
