Podolski and AA23 are the two main players that spring to mind as players who were genuinely talented, but fcuked about by le cock playing them out of position. Somewhere in the next 12-18 months we will be adding ozil's name to that list, but le cock will largely escape scrutiny again as fingers will be pointed at the players's like of work ethic/courage
Podolski, can I just say that I wished you had of joined us years ago and played in a system that would have suited you, and then maybe you would be a Gooner hero and not just because of your off-field loyalty to our cause

Agree absofuckinglutely 100%.
And I know people say being played out of position is no excuse for lack of effort (and I agree to a certain extent) but that's very much closing the gate after the horse has bolted. These talented players should not be put in a position (literally and metaphorically) where they are demotivated and frustrated because their manager's ego dictates they play out of their best position just so they can be wedged into a "system".
It's fucking ridiculous. Would anyone have played Vieira as a winger? Arsene ruined AA23, he is in the process of ruining Pod, and as augie says, at some point in the next year or so we will all be sitting here lamenting the fact he ruined Ozil.
Podolski is likeable in the way that Wilshere is likeable. He seems to "get" the club, know our culture, hates the vermin, understands what the NLD means to real Arsenal fans. He's the closest thing we have to an old style "proper" Arsenal footballer like Parlour or Groves or TA6. A refreshing change from the arrogant, selfish, aloof, spoiled, multi-millionaire arseholes that are most modern players.
