Re: Mackems (A) match thread.
Thank you Fat Head Brown and Don Vito... and Alexis of course to being in the right place on the right time! Other than that, piss poor and fucking boring. I actually fell asleep during the match... we were saved just because Sunderland is so shit.

Alexis did well. He's a class above anyone else. He has to be wondering what on earth he joined. Gibbs crocked yet again too.
Sunderland look like relegation candidates on this form.

The second one on the other hand, yeah, he was shitesafcftm wrote:Im in the ground, about 50 yards from vito, not watching on sky like that big nosed prick thompson (drinking in the concourse trying to avoidthe second half) and he can fuck off. Mannone has done nowt wrong. Shite v southampton but he took us to wembley and kept us up, thompson can suck my dick, fuck off and die, in any order he fancies. We're shite, we'll lose, but we're used to it. Brown fucked up, we cant create a chance, thats not mannones faultaugie wrote:The big nose scouser on sky seems to be suggesting that mannone is having a bit of a 'mare
Re: Mackems (A) match thread.
Awful performance against an awful team. Not one good player out there today bar Sanchez. Welbeck movement upfront is Sunday League, not good enough. Gibbs now injured, Per hobbling. Arteta & Flamini offer nothing & are defensive liabilities. Defence is in bits with no options left. Shame we didn't have a clue that any of this would happen when the transfer window was open. Oh wait, we did...

Re: Mackems (A) match thread.
Every 3 points is worth celebrating with this shambles.
All hail Sanchez, pretty much dragging our season anywhere at the moment, our only hope this year is that Walcott comes back and hits the ground running meaning Sanchez and Walcott bail us out of the you know what more often than not.
The plus side to the Gibbs injury is that Monreal at CB is now over, him playing there is more embaressing than all the injuries, a balanced back 4 with players playing where they know to play might just work now that the manager can't make things difficult for them as it's no longer in his hands.

Re: Mackems (A) match thread.
Very mediocre. Alexis' work ethic earned him the second goal. Other than that nobody shone.
Dannyboy is looking a yard short of pace. I suspect the pressure of playing every game and being the lone striker is starting to tell.
While it's a terrible endictment of AW that it has to happen, I think Nacho has tried hard in a position for which he is obviously unsuited.

We are so fucking predictable pedestrian and boring.Every performance is the same.Without two gift wrapped goals from Brown and Mannone this game would have finished 0-0.We created fuck all against a shell shocked Sunderland defence. Chamberlain needs to take a good look at himself. How many times is he given a chance and he fucks it up.

Re: Mackems (A) match thread.
They were never going to roll over last week, that's not making excuses for us just pointing out that they couldn't have been that bad again.
Re: Mackems (A) match thread.
Absolutely. What's wrong with playing the long ball now & again? It works well for Chelsea and other teams that do it against us and score, so why can't we employ the same tactic? I'd like to see it hit over the top for Welbeck or Alexis to chase.markyp wrote:absolute fucking tripe,so fucking pedestrian,no urgency at all,up front clueless and trying to walk the ball in,we have two bullets in sanchez and welbeck, smash it over the top for them to chase,oh my god these performances are consistently the worst of Wenkers reign,WENKER OUT![]()

I'd also like to see more crosses put in like the one Chambers did for Gibbs goal, that was pure class.
Re: Mackems (A) match thread.
Have only seen motd highlights but the standout issue for me is how deep wellbeck seemed to be dropping - is he already being educated about the need to get involved in the intricate link up play outside their area ? Can we not just have a striker that plays like a striker instead of fcuking around at the halfway line playing sidewards passes like the rest of these c.unts ??

Re: Mackems (A) match thread.
He can't finish. If he had we could have won by 5. He seems to try to hit the ball too hard instead of using the speed of the pass & just place it. At least work the keeper. We deserved the win as we created more than them unlike the midweek CL game.Lee1 wrote:How many times did Cazorla fly it high and wide over the bar? Shocking

Versus Hull it was a different story, his movement was excellent; he was both deep and up front, making space, popping into space.augie wrote:Have only seen motd highlights but the standout issue for me is how deep wellbeck seemed to be dropping

Watched the whole game and Welbeck looked tired, thought he week really showed.
