FA Cup 2014 - 2015

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We'll come from behind to earn a late replay at the prestigious KC Stadium. :barscarf:

Think Liverpool and City might have a bit of trouble. Most other contenders, including us, should cruise.

If this is any more than Cat C prices then the club can fuck off (I know they have to agree prices)

Anyone half decent can do us home or away.Hull will fancy their chances and rightly so, our manager is a furburger afterall.

At least you won't have to travel to Hull, it's a toilet.

I loved winning that FA Cup for alot of different reasons. But I still firmly believe that winning it didn't extend Arsene's deathgrip - oops, sorry - tenure, by even one day. Similarly, us losing it would not have cut it short by even one day. Arsene only has to deliver 4th spot and the CL money & "prestige" ( ) and our board are happy. I've said it once, I've said it a million times, Arsene will leave when Arsene wants to leave, no sooner and no later. If a 9 year (that's NEARLY A DECADE THERE FOLKS!!! ) trophy drought wasn't enough to motivate our board to replace him, does anyone really think not winning the FA Cup would? REALLY?? :|

So I personally enjoyed the day, the build up, the game, the win, the victory parade, the whole thing.
Agree, he would just not have walked away anyway, being top for so long and reaching Wembley would have been huge 'progress' in his eyes. And I would add to that that winning the FA Cup seems to have increased expectations and consequently he is being judged more harshly this season, because so many people on both sides of the divide invested a lot of belief in the 'springboard' argument.

Crap draw. A game we should cruise, but one we're quite capable of losing.

We are not only in the vicinity, we are orchestrating from the command centre.
