i wonder how he's going to finance it ? - LA confirms, NO taxpayers money will come from the City...

we all obviously hope by selling his Arsene PLC stake to Usmanov, but i think he'll mortgage our cash flows if he can.

the outcome depends on the terms of the bonds that the club re-fi'd in 2013, which effectively securitise our ticket receipts.

without selling the ground, i don't see how he can mortgage us any more.

so to sum up - this is either very good (he's going to have to sell up) or very bad ( he's going to mortgage the ground, and if the LA NFL projects goes tits up, we go under).

i'm sure the three million was used by KSE to ahem, 'smooth' any planning or zoning difficulties....

its a huge question about where will he get the finances from - Arsene PLC represent 25% of his wealth, the rapids aren't worth shit, nor the avalanche, the City is not putting anything in, and his new partners have a total net worth of $280million - including the land adjacent thats going to be part of the Dev.

unless he's going to sell part of his Wal Mart stake, i think he has to mortgage our ground or sell outright.

if they break ground before the end of 2015, their first receipts will be in summer 2018 - ponying up 1.35billion three years in advance requires security.

Arsene PLC were lent 260million quid based on a guaranteed % of ticket receipts up to 2028.

anyone who lends wiggy say 500-600 million, is going to want the same security - that is IF he can find $800million in CASH.

It's possible that he sells to someone just like him, or even worse. So selling his Arsenal shares won't necessarily be very good for the club.

That relocation to LA will be fought tooth and nail in the US - the nfl is trying to expand by introducing new NFL franchises and LA was one of it's target areas so moving an existing franchise to LA doesnt aid that policy at all

i dunno about that - they also want a 4th team in socal along with the niners, Raiders and Chargers; and the Rams were the LA Rams originally.

the NFL is as bent as FIFA allegedly.

Er the 49 ers are in San Fransisco Raiders are in Oakland both are ,Nocal not Socal Which in essence is LA down to San Diego , The Chargers are currently the only ones in SOCAL although the Rams and The Raiders have both spent time in LA and Anaheim.

Problem is the stadiums , UCLA play @ the Rose Bowl in Pasedena and USC @ the aging Colosseum neither best suited for the corporate fest the NFL grounds have become !

It makes sense to have a franchise there but LA people are fickle !
