Time to bench Chesney/Goalkeeper problem?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Perhaps he was smoking crack, or is that old hat now? What do the kids get down with these days - crystal meth?

Maybe he was 'vaping' crack?

How lovely is it to see the arrogant prick sat on the bench with a face like a slapped arse? Long may it continue.

I hate those fucking electronic fags. I've had one for 4 months and it's less hassle to actually smoke.

I haven't vaped crack though; maybe I'm not using it correctly.

Have to say I'm absolutely amazed that any right-thinking individual could seriously buy that "smoking in the showers" bollocks
It's patently obvious sthg else has happened here and he's fallen out with the squad. Sol Campbell interview on main Gooner page backs this when he says there's "no way" he was hooked for smoking. I'll never buy that...

There's little I would put past the dickhead but I also seriously struggle to believe the story. Sounds like a - wait for it - SMOKEscreen :barscarf:

what is that ospina thing that was going on every goal kick on sunday? the sort of thing I would never have expected the crowd at the bowl to do, sounded like stoke at first but slowly realised it was ospina's name being chanted

Whatever has happened, I can't see Scez getting his place back in the foreseeable future, other than through injuries or some catastrophic goalkeeping by Ospina.
It will be very interesting to see who plays in the next round of the fa cup.
I've always liked Scez, but at the end of the day he has no one to blame but himself and possibly his old man. Hopefully Ospina can bring some much needed experience and maturity to the role.

indeed, down with the clown, doesn't belong on a football pitch, when he cleans up his act maybe he can return, and that's a maybe.

Ospina might concede a few vs City, but lets not forget Sczezny is an average shot stopper, I just want to see stability in a GK which can translate to the whole back four.

In the past Wenger would have brought Szczesny back in for the Brighton game then kept him in. I'm not so sure this time because although I disbelieve the smoking rumours I can believe that he has done something to piss Wenger off.

Just thought I'd add that it's pleasantly surprising to not be shitting my pants every time the ball goes near Ospina.

Since he's been in the team Ospina has done what a good goalie should do .......Keep Goal and settle the back four .....
The smoking pole has got a long time on the bench to think about which way he wants his career to go .
