Is Gibbs good enough

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Gibbs positioning used to be appalling, he would tuck in so close to his CB for the same reason. Although he doesn't seem to do the latter so much anymore.

The game a few weeks ago at stoke was a shocking example of that - that day he showed zero interest in closing down the cross and against any team that is poor form, but against the hoof ball team that has a giraffe up front, it is absolute suicide :x

I always go back to the game away in the leeds shithole a few years back where o'dreary finished our league challenge (and had a celebration dance at the end  ), and I remember le cock absolutely slated vivas for dirty leeds winning goal - he chose to totally ignore lee Dixon's non interest in closing down the cross, but instead chose to slate the argie playing out of position at left back, for getting caught the wrong side of the attacker when the cross came in :x Typical bullying cowardice by le cock as he blamed the less established player
I'll never forgive O'Leary for that
I agree Flash.

O'Leary flushed all goodwill down the pan that day. Tosser.

Augie:

Wenger was right to dig Vivas though.
