TA lives near Cirencester these days, he does make occasional appearances, IIRC he was at a small community football ground redevelopment opening in Stroud last year as guest of honour.

I dont like rte's (irish tv station) coverage, and some of the pundits are total arseholes (step forward sadlier ), but I do think that souness got his schooling while being a pundit on rte - the first couple of times he was on over here you can see the look of sheer horror on his face as the carnage occured around him Up to that point he was as vanilla as the rest of the sky/bbc/itv pundits (bt pundits are just total dogshite ), but now I think that he appreciates more of the fans need for honest appraisal more then nicey nicey rubbish

I'm not sure I've ever seen a studio pundit on Sky as animated as Souness was on Wednesday. He absolutely hammered Henry who clearly didn't want to repeat his anecdote about Guardiola cajoling him about positional discipline on air. I really hope Sky keep having him on there because he is the only decent pundit they've got.
I'm sure the apologists will render his criticisms void because he himself often struggled as a manager. Just like how Wenger feels that despite winning 11 Premier League titles Paul Scholes is not qualified to comment on whether a team is capable of winning the league or not because he's never managed a game.

Souness is the daddy of the pundits without a doubt. However, he did allow himself to get sucked into the "Wenger's greatest achievement" nonsense when we recovered from the irrelevant 8-2 and being 17th to winning another VT

Souness was spot on in my opinion and yes Henry did look very uncomfortable being forced to even slightly denounce Wenger. Will it make a difference? No I doubt it... the Wenger apologists will continue to dismiss anyone who criticises him as either bitter or jealous.

Watched sunday supplement this morning and I have to say that oliver holt is an absolute arrogant c.unt who appears to like nothing better than sucking on the end of wenkers knob His refusal to hear a bad word about wenker on any subject, would put pro wenker pundits like john cross and paddy Barclay to shame
Should also say that ian wrights lack of intelligence shone through again today on 5 live - I was listening to it this evening in the car and he practically repeated, word for word, what the pundits had said about wenker and Arsenal on sunday supplement

Ian Wright seems to have a completely different view on everything every time he talks.
It should be interesting to hear the views of a genuinely passionate, driven and honest individual but it needs to be tempered with far more thinking and common sense.
