Even better than that, we beat them in the FA Cup four years in a row!

2001: Arsenal 3-1 Chelsea (Round 5)

2002: Arsenal 2-0 Chelsea (Final)

2003: Chelsea 1-3 Arsenal (QF)

2004: Arsenal 2-1 Chelsea (Round 5)

Happy days!

:barscarf:
The 2003 one I remember being at and afterwards a couple of excitable little wankers were trying to get at us when we were singing "Champions" followed by "You'll never sing that song".......those were the days. We used to fuck them over nearly every time we played them
We did, complete reversal of how things are now.

I wonder how many people will remember this year's match 10 years from now?

I wish for the days when they were our bunnies, gone the way of the dodo now.

How can we claim to be top dogs in London if we can't beat the shite of Chelski. AW didn't even seem bothered about his appalling record against Mourinho. I can't see it changing under him - FO AW!

Surprised you say Wenger isn't bothered. Personally, I think it's obvious he hates losing to Mourinho; it's etched on his face every time we play them.

The Dec 2007 game where we did them 1-0 with Cech flapping for Gallas' goal was also great, we were really riding high and the Flamini-Fabregas partnership in particular was really a joy to watch. Best memory of that game was right at the death when Cole was trying to launch a counter-attack from their box and Fabregas scythed him down from behind with no attempt to win the ball. He really hated that little prick, made that clear.
Particularly enjoyed that match. Fabregas just plain taking the little chav phone botherer out of it was fantastic! :D 8)

Also I had won a competition to meet the legend Kenny Sansom onstage at one of those Gate 31 things. I was duly pissed up by that time and proceeded to scare the shite out of Kenny with a big old drunken bear hug!  Kenny was an absolute gent though and took it in good humour. 8) A mate filmed it and the footage is on youtube I think.

Whenever Chelsea come at us and give us space to play on the break we always look very capable of beating them. Unfortunately Mourinho knows this so I can't see us having any such luck on monday
Letting Chelsea have the ball is how you beat them. His Real Madrid & early Chelsea side were found out this way & I have no idea why more big teams don't implement it when playing them. No faith in us doing it on the weekend either.

I remember a cracking early season 3-3 from the mid 90s, maybe 96 or 97 ; 0-2 down early on, and we had a great fightback with goals by Merse and Wrighty (I think), until that rat Dennis Wise poped up in the last minute to nick an eqauliser. Great game tho.

Loved that game. Going down there early, full of confidence. Great atmosphere behind the goal.

And Lauren's goal. :barscarf:
