Spot on. Almost as embarrassing as those jokers chanting "boring boring Chelski" as they basically wrapped up the title at our place
As much as you may have wanted them to win it at our place (wherever your place is) the actual facts, not the comments section at the bottom of a webpage, but the actual facts, are they didn't win it at our place so your "basically wrapped it up at our place" is a stupid comment. You could point to 10 games and say they basically wrapped it up at this or that game.

For all your bluster about "been going to Arsenal for decades" there is so much that just doesn't ring true. You find fans chanting at other fans "embarrassing"? Football fans take every opportunity to take the piss out of oppo fans. That's the way the game has always been. In your "decades" of going I'm sure you would have come across the concept, no?
Yeah right you are. I mean, ignore use of the word "basically"
Seeing as you love facts, that "basically" means it didn't actually happen. Sigh.
And no, it isn't chanting at other fans that's the issue here - nowhere did I say that, but hey make it up as you go along!
What I did say, is that it's embarrassing to accuse another team of being "boring" when our own team then goes on to not manage a home goal for over 180 minutes, and crucially, scored less goals than the team you're accusing of being boring
It was ridiculous then, it's ridiculous now. Especially when that team wins!

My comment was no more stupid than your comment claiming Inter fans voting Podolski a flop is invalidated as a minority of their fans once said racist things
"Ignore my use of the word basically"?? I quoted it you dullard!!

A "minority of their fans once said racist things"? :coffeespit:   For such a self proclaimed knowledge base on the game you have very obviously never been to a game involving an Italian club and their "fans". The racism is rife and it is a huge chunk of their fans. And yet well travelled fan you are, you've never encountered it? But then the dirty tottingham scum don't get to play in Europe all that often, huh? :D

But really, as we both know, what invalidates your comments is the fact you base them on (and dear God - even link to) the moronic comments sections of football websites!! But that is standard troll activity isn't it? Desperately try and back your argument up with someone else's argument no matter how stupid it is.

BTW - you forgot to stick an extra "sigh" at the end there. :-P

Honestly think Mourinho knows we are a better football team than his lot......the tactics of their players at the bridge was dubious with the ref letting them get away with it, at least 2 bookable challenges on Sanchez, one by Ivanovic was a disgrace, of course goes unpunished. Oscar made about 20 fouls in the first half before eventually getting booked, then he was brought off. then it was rotational fouling all taking turns.....does Cazorla or Ozil undertake these tactics??
Understand physical side of the game, but they crossed the line, WHY because we can out play that lot....and i think next year we will prove it..

We are closer to Chelsea in terms of quality of our squad than we have been for a number of years.

Bellerin has come of age, I really cant see Chambers or Debuchy getting a starting spot if he is fit. Coquelin has also finally come good. Add that to the awesome talent of Sanchez and phenomenal workrate. Ozil has started to come good since he came back from his injury too.

Two or three solid buys in the summer and old Moaninho might have a bit more to say about our club.

I have noticed a very pro-Chelski stance in most of your posts. Aren't you the guy who claimed it was the biggest game of our season a decade ago? Nah mate, it definitely wasn't.

Maybe you've just been battered so badly by the Sky hype machine and fair play if that's the case but we now have probably the best team we've ever had since Mourinho was in the league and it's not ridiculous to think we could challenge in the coming seasons. Now, if the league wasn't so poor I might not take that stance but given that Chelski got pissed on at home by 10 man PSG, it's not unreasonable to think a team with Ozil, Sanchez and Ramsey could do the same given some top defensive additions.

Depends more if we can do well from August to May and ride the storms throughout the season.

We need defenders and a top quality striker. Can't imagine that many times inthe last 15-20 years that a team's won the title with stikers the quality of walcott and giroud.

I probably hate Chelsea more than Spurs because I see them more as rivals tbh. Tottenham are a small time club and our obsession with them does us no favours because it really is all too easy to finish above them.

When we start to score goals against Chelsea again then I might start to agree with you, until then I think my argument is perfectly valid. I fail to see how this makes my opinions pro Chelski. We finished the season 4 points worse than last season, and in a worse PL league. we are nowhere near challenging I am afraid.
