That last comment was very funny dodgy. 8) However, I don't think we should be questioning why people outside our parish support our club when they don't live here, otherwise where would we stop? People that don't live in Islington/London/England/Europe? :? There is such a thing as freedom of choice in most of the countries we live in, thankfully. 8) We wouldn't want to force or limit people to choices only some think are appropriate, would we now? :rubchin: Might also upset one or two of our Irish brethren - and no-one wants that!!

And you can take that to the bank, bitches. 8)

What a charming turn of phrase you have. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?

What the USA needs is coin and they are scouring the world for slush funds .
FIFA has Billions but the USA will impose mahooosive fines that will cripple FIFA and that's just the start .
They will turn over the whole of football and it wont be pretty .
Blatter is fucked but with the ludicrous one sided treaties that the USA has with many countries your sovereignty is fooked and they can turn up anywhere !
Next stop the IOC !
Sounds like someone who has their underwear in a bunch that the USA has now surpassed England in world football. Sorry it's not 1980 anymore.

The last thing we need is cash.
Is that the USA who are ranked 27th in the world and have never won a global tournament ?

One place above Scotland, and five below Wales - well done you ! Who's the goaltender these days ?

Rankings are largely inaccurate and meaningless (England were 3rd in 2012 lol) and your lone global tournament win was 49 years ago. Not sure if you saw but we've just beaten the Netherlands in Amsterdam with our reserves while you lot played out a scoreless draw with the Irish.

Missed England's match in the round of 16 last summer. Who did they play?

Yeah, the same Irish side that butt-fucked the USA 4-1 in November.

Calm down now boys. The 'My dad is bigger than yours' argument should be left in the playground.

The USA have improved considerably over the past few years and - now that they are finally beginning to take football seriously - will eventually gravitate towards the top end of the world game. Will they ever win a World Cup? Who knows. However the likes of Holland are still waiting to do so despite a plethora of great players and teams throughout the past 40 years so it won't be easy or even inevitable.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. This is a great opportunity for Fifa to scrap the world cup and international football as it is no longer relevant. It should focus on domestic leagues and grass roots football, and the women's domestic game.

Tin hat on time... but back in the day 1989-1995 I hated that man with a passion. I saw him as an ignorant aggressive man who humiliated Liam Brady and was never properly taken to task over it. Football was taken out of the hand sof football people and desecrated by the band wagoners.

I'm not a huge fan of international football but if you think that scrapping it will lead to a higher focus on grass roots football then you are deluded - the reason why international football's importance has dwindled in recent years is because of the wealth and power the big clubs have in the game (and the mega money that players are now earning), and doing away with international football will only strengthen the control that these clubs have on the game and believe me that wont be good :(
