John Cross's Book - "Arsene Wenger"

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I did hear a rumour that Matthew Upson was sold to get some extra cash in the season before. Im not sure how we were that skint in 2003-4 as we bought Reyes in January 2004.

I would rather fuck FwankSav in his shit-streaked Ewok ass with no condom whilst French kissing Kerry Katona's rancid unwashed baby-ejector than read it.

Sir, you have a turn of phrase worthy of Mr Wilde himself! :D
Also, I totally agree. This is just another piece of propaganda churned out by the Ministry of Truth that is Arsenal F.C. Bill Hicks had people like Cross sussed. "Sucking Satans Cock."

If he mentions the Stoke Three then I'll bet there are tear stains across the page.

Absolute James Hunt of a man, labelling people like that as 'not proper fans' - no of course not you arsehole, that's why they shell out their hard earned money to travel up to Stoke for the annual dicking whilst you sit there with Barclay and the other ringpieces in the press conference hanging off TO1AW's every word

Hmm are you suggesting that this may in fact be a steaming pile of hotspur ?
(With accreditation to red dwarf)

Next you will be suggesting that Wenker didnt work 24 hours a day, 8 days a week to hand build the Emirates personally.

We were also informed all those years ago that the stadium money was ringfenced and would categorically not effect the football side of Arsene FC........so that means someone or other is a liar.

Has anyone read a preview copy?

In the pre-publicity, Cross claims the club had a week in 2003 - 2004 when they could barely pay the players' salaries, because the new stadium was eating up our money.

There have been at least ten serious books about Wenger and his time at the club, not least by Gooner.Ed, Myles Palmer, Amy Lawrence etc.

Would be interested to know when people have read this one and what they think.
But, but, but, Wenger built the new stadium with his own hands didn't he?
I'm sure he did - he used to be a brickie before he did his Economics degree....and before that he was a clown - so things are cyclic then !

So we 'nearly' run out of money just before the stadium move... yeah right...  Funny how this wasn't mentioned at the time!!! Has that crock of shit been made up to put Wenger's frugal ways in a better light? :? :?

Anyway, I hope just like Alan Partridge's book 'Bouncing Back' that this cowpat of a book bombs and is pulped within weeks although I very much doubt it as that cretin John Cross plugs it at every opportunity going, the 'man' with no shame.

Did I happen to say that I quite dislike him?
