Interesting stuff, though I'd question the debt value of Real Madrid - seems rather low for a Club that struggled to pay off the Anelka transfer and was trying to argue Arsenal in to taking lots of tiny instalments over a number of years.

Wasnt that before the madrid local council/parmliment/council bought their old training base for a massively overpriced figure thus clearing madrids debts :?: I find it odd that we are so high up seeing as we aint got a pot to piss in at the mo  With the exception of the german clubs and celtic I think we have been rumoured to have been outmuscled in the transfer market by every club on the list in recent years

Looks like Roman has not done much to increase the size of Chelsea. If he sells up he'll get hardly any more than he has invested overall.
Bloody shame really

We are so rich and close to overtaking Real Madrid. So why do most clubs below us outspend us? :?

Yes, Arsenal are still paying for the Emirates Stadium - but if we keep going season after season without a trophy might that not affect attendances and therefore delay the time when the loans are repaid? In the meantime Man Utd and Chelsea keep strengthening their squads and the distance between us stays the same - or even grows bigger.

Would have thought it grew smaller this year then the last two? Meanwhile shouldn't Liverpool and Spurs have overtaken us by now? Not like we don't have a talented team and transfer funds to improve it.
