should we make a cheeky bid for Costa??

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just confirming this is about a player and not an expansion of club revenues into the coffee sector?

I say no! I couldn't possibly cheer him on.

:hmmthink:

Maybe when a three way fight breaks out between him, Gabbie and Kos, I'll be able to cheer the latter two on for entertainment.

Enormous *word censored* BUT were I convinced that he could play at last seasons level I would definitely say yes. As it is I don't see him ever getting back to that level at a premier league club and him being a chav *word censored* is then the overwhelming factor.

Academic anyway as Mourinho would never sell him to us at a reasonable price.

Not sure he's that good. Suarez is a top 5 player in the world. Big difference.

Course we shouldnt, Jeez weve got plenty of top class strikers having a few scoring issues but who generally manage to keep fit week in week out whos proved themselves for a season in the PL and several seasons in top flights of other leagues

Put the question on 2 seasons ago and we would almost have said yes. The fact he isnt being managed terribly well by Maureen doesnt make him less desirable. At least he shows some bloody emotion. He may get a red (And others a red too  ) but he is quality that we sorely lack.

Costa was vastly overrated by fans everywhere after his one good season at Atletico.

He is awful this season.
