There seems to be a culture of picking on the English talent we have at the club. Iwobi has made quite a few substitute appearances and yet to have an assist or goal to his name.
Hang on, mate. It's not an anti-English thing. All the players at the club that are there years and earn a fortune and deliver fuck all get slated here. Iwobi is barely in the door. No matter where he came from let's give him a chance to see what he can do. After all we gave Theo 10 years, Wilshere approx 8 years, the Ox 5 years... Should they be excused from criticism because they are English?
'Picking on the English" (note I did not include the word 'talent') Walcott, Gibbs, The Ox, Chambers - ALL english - All playing like utter shyte.....
okay, so either thyey were shyte before they arrivrd and just stayed on that plateau OR They arrived with 'Potential' but that potential has never ben utilised or properly encourged and guided because they play for a man who is a law unto himself and DESTROYS Talent.
He plays players out of position 90% of the time...rather than allowing them to develop, learn and grow as players in a specific area of the field and role as a player - Look at Ramsey (welsh I know) but He has demonstarted that he can be brillaint - even after an horrendous injury - and what happens he starts going backwards - because le Foll plays him out of his natural position.
Further to that, Le Fool continues to buy (when he manage sit) to buy players of a very similare physical build - most of whom are skilled players more than 'warriors' who can get stuck in and do the business when needs be...
Besides Gibbs is shyte and i'll be glad to see when he's gone - There is still 'hope' for The Ox, Wally and Chambers - But only if they get to play under another manager - and Not Le Fool Wenger.
Grrrrrr!
