NEW PATTERN SHOULD WIN US THE LEAGUE

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

And for whatever role he is being groomed for he is definitely not physically ready for the intensity of the league.
All true. He's probably a box to box midfielder. But on (admittedly limited) viewing he looks like a bit of a headless chicken type box to box midfielder. :|

looks like an energetic denilson to me, only making short pointless sideways or back passes.

I predict he will be complete waste of 7m

Ooh! That's harsh, mate!

But you will most likely be proven very right. :rubchin:

Groomed FFS...we needed added quality now, to push on for the title, a goalscorer would have been good

So many areas needed strengthening, it would have also given everyone lift players and fans....but NO lets keep it all in the bank for Wiggy

cannot see Elneny becoming the new Viera in all honesty or not even close

Wouldn't even mention him in the same sentence mate. When PV4 was 20 you could see in his first few games what a player he was and would become.

Thanks for those who welcomed me into the forum :D
On the criticism i have had, some just use one word which proves they don't criticize because they know but just worried that someone is thinking differently

I still think there are strengths in how you set up a team and the 5.4.1 setup would do one thing...add an extra player for Arsenal because we would have each player doing two roles. it can do a lot to lifting the players spirits

But like someone said, me and all other goners are passing a message...WE ARE NOT HAPPY
But anyway we support our Arsenal :barscarf:

4+5+1 = 10
5+4+1 = 10

Hope this is helpful.

Welcome to the forum. Not sure how old you are but we used to play 5 at the back in the nineties. Hardly a revolutionary system but of course football didn't exist 20 plus years ago pre t'internet.
