I know I can be like a broken fucking record, but Jesus, Partey and Zinchenko should all have been gone in the summer and it doesn’t reflect well that we have to keep Jorginho in reserve because we lack quality options.

I had a mild spat with one or two on here when we signed Jesus. They told me his goalscoring record was good and he was a top signing. Let’s just say that I’d seen him play enough times for City to know that he wasn’t top quality, wasn’t a natural goal scorer and would never be prolific for us. Fuck me, he’s about as far from prolific as it’s possible to be. Still, Arteta told us that he saw something different in him before the season started. I assume he saw that the bloke is even more crap than we thought.

Absolutely no need to be so stressful....everyone beats this lot 9-0 all the time so 3-1 is basically a defeat.....why can't we just dominate a game for full 90 mins....when was the last time we knew we were going to smash a team from minute 1 FFS
3-1 is basically a defeat?

Steady now.

Lefty!!! How Dare You!!???

Rodders is never Sarcastic!! He can be Erudite even Poetic when of a mind to be. Yes he can be a tad Brusque on occasions, but that tends to only happen when he has been on the Amber Nectar (mate). And indeed he can also come across as seeming "Odd" to some, but in a Good Way: except of course when he is 'Hanging Out' with Spuddy and they are on one of their (cough, cough) week-ends in Amsterdam or in Bangkok....

We've got a duck load of injuries, let's not forget that....Ode, Timber and White are all first choices, Tomi only just back, thankfully Zinchenko is nowhere to be seen...... Not great performances but champions win games when playing poorly or indifferent.
Well still be champions in May :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:
Sacrilege TC, you'll get burned at the stake for being positive about a win
Aaah! See. Now That's 'Sarcasm'. :proudtosay: :D

Odegaard is a huge loss in games like today when the bus is parked from minute one. That little bit of guile around the box to unlock teams is missing. Worried that the ankle injury is even more serious than we thought and that he’s a good bit off returning.
Arteta said it is 2 weeks max mate.

Arteta got away with the gamble of playing Partey at RB and of picking both Jesus and Sterling because we were paying a poor team but dont do it again. They should only be playing in the league cup

Was out today so waiting for the highlights on MOTD. I agree anything less than 4-0 was an under achievement but at least we won in the end.

Just re-watching the game (of The Day) on Sly and seriously:

Partey passing the ball backwards 90% of the time the ball gets played to him...Jesus totally in-effective and greedy to boot, twice Saka was un-marked / Free in an advanced position on the right flank and Jesus tried to beat 3 or 4 defenders and of course loses the ball, then sterling... Why the bejesus we ever signed him is a fucking Mystery...When he signed he said in an interview that he "Had Something To Prove and Was Raring to Go"....If today's appearance is anything to go by he proved he is so far past his sell by date (pun intended) he must smell like stale cheese...It was Sterling losing the ball that lead directly to their goal.

Calafiori lacks pace (which is a concern)... But his reading of the game and when to tackle and take the ball forward is Quality

Havertz was everywhere and really put a shift in... then of course the all important equaliser...

Arteta should have made the substitutions sooner

Martinelli & Trossard tackled back when needed, but showed real forward momentum and that was equal to putting a permanent Press on the saints back-line.

their player Dibling (Only 18years of age) looks a real Prospect... I would swap him for jesus & sterling in the blink of an eye...

Easier to watch second time around without all the stress & tension knowing we Win! :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:
