JAYSUS!!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

JAYSUS!!

Post by DB10GOONER »

I'll say it again - Jaysus!!

I'm back.

Not dead (thankfully) not "taken" by aliens (or Gus  ) not a spud (  ).

Sorry to have worried so many of the regulars but I have to say I'm genuinely touched (No - not like that  ) by the response to my "disapearance" and by the amount of posts wishing me well and hoping I was ok. So, seriously guys; THANK YOU. 8) :)

So, you ask, what happened?

Firstly, I made it to the Derby thrashing ok. Great result, had a blast with Fordy, my bro Wayne and Gooner mate Emma and honorary Gooner Graham (from Sheffield, Sheff Wed fan, but lives in London so adopted The Arse as 2nd team 8) ).

Was in the Pins before game with big DB10GOONER on back of Jersey. Met no one off forum ( :? ) until after match when I had a nice chat with Gooner Ed outside the stadium. Spent evening in Arsenal Tavern and then every single bar in Church Street!! :? :P Got a nice lock in until 5am Sunday morning due to fact Emma is Oirish and knew the Oirish owner of one of those Church Street bars...

LyingAir (sorry - RyanAir) then treated me to the flight from hell home on the Sunday - MASSIVE turbulence, air hostesses strapped into seats for duration so NO ALCOHOL  served on board flying coffin, relieved applause upon "landing" (if you can call slamming plane into runway so hard the fucker bounces , a landing  ) and then sitting on runway for nearly an hour for totally unspecified and unexplained reason...

Woke up Monday morning with bad back pain which promptly turned into a full-on muscle spasm that hurled me across the bedroom in agony (imagine the worst cramp you ever had, multiply by a thousand and make the fucker non stop and you'll get the idea).

So, basically, I've been in bed on valium and codiene for the last three weeks more or less. And just to cap it all off my fucking broadband at home got chopped off by some knob ends upgrading cables and shit on my road.

Anyway, I'm back, I missed you guys big time and, once more, thank you for your concern.

8) :)

Welcome back DB10. Hope you are feeling better. Bit of a co-incidence that the day "I hate hleb" admits he is you, you return. We need gooner.ed to verify your story (he would know if you were IHH as you would possibly be stoned..... )

I take it I have been completely cleared of all accusations now!

welcome back mate.

This may sound weird, but I'm jealous of your flight. I love turbulence on a plane, makes it more exciting.

GREAT TO HAVE ME..ER..YOU BACK DB10GOONER. 8) WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT THAT SOME PEOPLE THOUGHT YOU AND I WERE THE SAME PERSON?  EVEN WORSE, SOMEONE SUGGESTED THAT YOU HAD DESERTED US FOR ANOTHER FORUM!

I PUT THEM RIGHT OF COURSE, AND DEFENDED YOUR GOOD NAME AND REPUTATION. 8) I MAY ALSO HAVE COME UP WITH A COUPLE OF THEORIES AS TO WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU (E.G. BECOMING MRS GUS DORIS  ), BUT IT WAS ALL DONE OUT OF DEEP CONCERN FOR YOUR WELFARE!! :D

ANYWAY, HAPPY TO HEAR YOU'RE BACK (PUN DEFINATELY INTENDED! ) AGAIN MATEY. 8)

Then you would have shot your muck on that plane!!

I don't know if it's me or that poxy airline but that's two horrible flights in just over a year (out of 12) :( The other being the near disaster coming out of Brussells (after the BarcaWhores had robbed us in Paris) that I posted about on here before.

FYI "Shot your muck" is Dublinese for an orgasm... which is nice.
