As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I just posted the same so thought I'd best delete it before DB10 wakes up.
Nice to see we have our usual easy start to a season.
And for the first time ever we play the 2nd round of the Carabao Cup.
I couldn't believe the fixtures were out so soon and had absolutely no interest in them whatsoever - still trying to forget the dullest season for 25 years.
That last sentence has cheered me up a bit though as I thought I'd have to wait till October for a meaningful game but due to Captain Black's incompetence we'll get one in September in the Carabao

I take it that this fixture will be for season ticket holders only?
Included in the 7 cup fixtures that make up the season ticket ?
We might even get to welcome Sutton United to the Emirates now that they are a league side
2nd round of the Carabao Cup against Doncaster or the like. Plenty to look forward to.
Hey don’t knock it, I well remember glamour trips away to Shrewsbury and Huddersfield
Scarborough where I got in the ground late and because of the fog I spent the first few minutes cheering them on before I realised we were in yellow and not red & white.
And who could forget Macclesfield away when they played at Leek Town's ground. The Gents toilet was a pile of sand behind a brick wall.

Football in the 80's. Great memories.
Yeah, a sense of reality, to the European Super League protagonists
