Re: Bans. A mod perogative?
Thought I might as well add my thoughts to the thread, even though the mods who have commented has summed things up pretty well. I set some rules earlier in the year because some rules needed to be set which people were generally prepared to adhere to and which could be moderated. I accept I probabl...

Re: nottheonlinegooner
I was aware of rolypoly's latest attempt to discredit Kevin and myself and The Gooner via his own blog which is of course his perogative. He's a very competent lawyer so knows how to spin a story to suit and he'd probably tie me up in knots if I chose to try to debate the point with him, which is wh...

He's now had a PM from me resetting the password on his original account.
I suspect Rob has just been busy for the last few days. If people have problems, PM and I'll try to sort things out as best I can.

Re: POLL: WOULD YOU GIVE ARSENE WENGER A NEW CONTRACT
I’ve voted “No”, but I’m like most football fans – fickle – and should be some miracle the Wenger/Bould partnership deliver a trophy this season, then I’d certainly reconsider. Incidentally, I know there have been a lot of disbelieving comments about the AST survey results, but The Gooner survey res...

Re: membership packs
I think they said that the membership packs were going to include the handbook this year and they therefore couldn't send them out until it had been published, which is this week I believe. I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions as to why the handbook has only just been published!

Re: How do you break a vicious circle?
I deleted your posts tonight as you were again breaching the rules about being abusive towards an individual. I have also replied to the email you sent to our webmaster lastnight after being banned. Can I suggest you read it before submitting any further posts?

Re: cost of Silver membership goes up again
Perhaps I'm biting again, but I refuse to allow the forum to be used as a vehicle for people to post abusive and unsubstantiated messages about people associated with The Gooner, who give up large amounts of their time for comparitively little reward. That's why one of the forum rules is that anythi...

Re: Silly banner thread
A reminder that we ask everyone to respect other people's views on this forum. I'm sure you are all quite capable of expressing how much you disagree with people's banners without resorting to making personally abusive remarks about individuals. If you can't cope with that rule, then please PM me an...

Re: No excuses
Pep is overreacting. Maybe. But maybe it's not just because of some results and he just needs some time to relax. Let's not forget he was still a player when he became manager, no time between. He played for a Mexcian club side for six months before retiring and then became coach of the Barcelona B...

Re: It's all the Gooner magazine's fault.
Maybe so but is there a concerted effort to appear more positive in our outlook ? It's not that I conscribe to the conspiracy theories floated around here in the last couple of months but I find it hard to fathom such a major turnaround in outlook from people like the spy and the mag in general :? ...

Re: It's all the Gooner magazine's fault.
It's been the same for a while to be honest. Do people not remember "Catch Us If You Can"  Guilty as charged. That was my idea. I remember travelling home from having beat Blackburn in an incredibly positive frame of mind. In my defence, I was also behind the recent front cove...

Re: It's all the Gooner magazine's fault.
publicity is one thing mike but if you read the comment under swls letter it is a pure bitch about the forum and makes out that we were all a bunch of twats who just started threads calling wenger a c**t. Have to agree to disagree on that one. I think the point Joe was making was that there were pl...

Re: It's all the Gooner magazine's fault.
The fanzine seems all too happy to engage in negative editorials and articles when the team has had a bad month, then expects everyone to become as fickle as the Spy and starting shouting from the rooftops on the back of a few wins. As we always say, we print what we receive and that is bound to re...

Re: It's all the Gooner magazine's fault.
anyone read the comment on swls letter from joe mardon who edited the letters page, another cheap dig at the forum :? 700000 posts on here and you would think everyone of them called wenger a c**t ,the same guy who on another comment about the gooner says write your own peice if you find the fanzin...

Re: Aaron Ramsey
There was comment, supposedly ironic, on the Wigan match thread relating to Ryan Shawcross. The original post was removed and the user was warned because whatever the intention, it was clearly going to provoke a reaction on an Arsenal forum. I know this won't be a popular view on here, but I like Ra...
