For those who are ashamed of the doubters.

Reading Maxton piece reminded me of an old boss I had, whenever anyone complained about some of the unsafe practices on the shop floor he would listen for a few minutes and then come out with his favourite line.
"If you don't like it f*ck off and get another job" we would laugh and joke about how ...

It's open season

Being realistic as a football supporter is very difficult and when your team sets out to win the title by goal swapping it almost always ends in tears.
To win things in sport you have to play in some parts a percentage game and we do not, we play spell binding attacking football and then risk it all ...

The difference between our players and the Man U players is that if the mancs don't put the effort in Fergie will sort them out. Our players are very rarely shaken out of their cosy world and that now is what they are in serious need of, dropping 3 or 4 for the next game would be a start.
We cannot ...

Very well put by Mark, I have pages of things I wanted to write but I can't top that excellent blog. I really think that the lack of a CEO at the club is now the major problem, I bet Arsene must love working at a club that lets him do as he pleases with no pressure on results or the playing staff ...

Jay Simpson's joy at scoring his first senior goal for Arsenal was one of the many highlights of last night, the runs he makes are excellent but for me he has that uncoachable talent of being in the right place at the right time, I hope he makes it with Arsenal.

The cover of the current Gooner magazine speaks volumes, we are a Jekyll and Hyde team and when we start games with that "off the pace" possession football (a la Stoke City) you know that Mr Hyde will be representing Arsenal for the duration of the 90 minutes. When Silvestre gave that back pass I ...

Good points Ed, I agree Vela must start and play the whole 90, I do not believe he is a "impact sub" When he played against Sheff Utd he was quiet for the first 25 minutes (I know its Sheff Utd and not Man U) but once he caught the pace of the game he was devasting and I think if he played as the 1 ...

We all agree the centre of our defence is the major problem, we all had grave concerns about Gallas when he was made captain ahead of Gilberto, those concerns manifested themselves at Birmingham. My concerns about our goalkeeper were finally brought out into the open at Stoke when he avoided ...

Don't blame Almunia

If you watch Stoke's second goal he jumped out of the way to avoid the challenge, ok he may not command the penalty area but surely the six yard box is his?

Good article by the editor, read it in conjuction with Sunday's Arseblog and you really do have the current "state of play" at Arsenal.
The board have always over the years believed that this is Arsenal and something will turn up to solve all the current problems, that exaggerated calm that all will ...

Watching Arsenal since 1961 I am no spoilt brat I will just repeat what I saw for Stoke's second goal "he (Almunia) jumped out of the way in case he got hurt" end of argument! :banghead:

The game against Stoke is now a real challenge to the team because this game will be a real throw back,(pardon the pun) Stoke will put everything into the box and just attack it, that coupled with Delap's long throws will give Almunia a serious afternoon's work. Our weakest area is our opponents ...

We certainly are a much better run club than the Spuds, 8 managers to our one in the last 12 years. However we are now geared up to playing attractive football rather than geared up to winning trophies.
The reserves are geared up to play attractive football and watching the last 2 games (Villa ...

If you looked deep into that performance it was the beautiful balance of the team that made it so impressive but I do so agree with Redexpress about Gibbs he is just another in the long line of great left backs our club has had, he looked every inch a first team player.
