I’d rather have Jabba than Silent Stan

The author doesn't quite explain why he'd prefer Usmanov over Kroenke. Is it really just because he has a box and attends more games? That's not good enough.

There's no reason to think Kroenke's in it just for money because if he was, he'd take his stake over 30% and force a takeover so all if any ...

Exhibition match: supporters v. shareholders 27/05

Arsene mentioned quite clearly in his press conference that he can accept criticism but he cannot accept disrespect to him or his players. You can't argue with that.

If someone during the question period called Brown a geriatric, whether you ...

I'm pretty sure the fans started the wave in that game as a tribute to Vela who had a fantastic game. It's not like we do it all the time.

If anything, it was a class act by the fans at the stadium that night.

I made the trek to London twice last season. The first time was absolutely fantastic (7 ...

Let's accept for argument's sake that losing against Wigan will be good for our team in the long run. On the other hand, how exactly will it be good for us in the short term? Not only for the kids but also for the first team.

If we lose against Wigan, everybody will have a blast adding Wigan ...

Great article! I laughed my ass off by the end of it.

Thanks for the joke as well! I laughed my ass off again!

I posted it for my friends on Arsenal Canada. They're sure to get a chuckle or two out of it.

I think my ass grew back. Wow, I need to hit the gym.

If it weren't for the Fulham game, Denilson's percentage would've probably been in the 90's. He's a completely different player when he's with Fabregas.

Do you think Bolton is as much of a threat post-Allardyce? Blackburn looked nothing like the Blackburn of last season.

I think we'll see more of the same on Saturday especially if we rest key players for Kiev.

We're good enough to see the 'big three' as real tests. Not Bolton.

Good article but I disagree about Capello's influence on Theo. He gets him for one game and all of a sudden Theo realises what he's been doing wrong?

Theo's been under Arsene's wings for a fair number of years now. He did well to ease him into the system as opposed to throwing him into the World ...

Author of comment number 8 is a friggin' idiot. Online gooner is one of three Arsenal sites I visit regularly. It's a great place to get viewpoints from Arsenal fans around the world. That's probably what the poster doesn't realise.

I think the author's frustrated and is looking for a scapegoat. Season's not over yet so hold your heads up high and remember that before the season started, most of us thought it would be a write off.

Cause and effect going on here though: injuries because of medical staff incompetency or injuries ...

I never said that you are an 'expert'. All I said was that you sound like one at times because after a win they say we're the greatest thing since toilet paper and one loss (or draw) and we're in downward spiral to fifth spot.

I didn't mean to sound like a prick with my first post so I apologise ...

I appreciate the writer's humility when he admitted he was wrong but I must say he is one of the most fickle minded fans I've ever seen. I've read a few of his editorials and from what I gather, he sounds more like a Sky or BBC "expert pundit guru magic man" at times and it's ridiculous.

I doubt Arsene told his players to play like that. No self-respecting manager would do such thing and no manager commands the respect Arsene deserves. United started on the front foot and our weakened back four just couldn't handle it. Toure just got back from Africa, Gallas had a poor game overall ...

I was never doubting your commitment to the club my fellow gooner. If we met at a pub and you told me you've been following the team since the 60's I'd buy you a beer.

We all had a great laugh when we saw the Scum fans leaving the Lane when we played there earlier this season. What would've hurt ...
