Someone should inform Le old fool that his board are asking for almost £300 to sit in club level for the Liverpool game.
I will bet my b***ocks he wont go bitching about that in front of the press.
Struggling to recall what a decent seat cost in the final season at Highbury.... £60?

Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?
Same old story though, its not just the fee.
What other mugs are going to pay him upwards of 120k per week so he can carry on jumping over 50/50 tackles?, just like Joel Campbell (although I have some sympathy for him) Wally will say he wants to fight for his place.

Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?
Previous comments are of course valid, the amount of money coming into the premiership is inflating the prices, and its all relative If you buy a quality player that value can and probably will go up...and you have to get on the train at some time or go backwards as Wenger is doing BUT....Lukaku qu...

Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?
At last a transfer rumour that I can actually see us pulling off.
There's only one Jonny Evans.
And if Kos shows any sign of injury I believe the partnership of Evans & Wes Brown could soon be reunited.

Re: The KLEENEX "I'm Not Watching!" Thread (NSFW)
Just as an interest had a look at the ticket site, for the Liverpool game there are a couple of seats going in the upper level, almost centre blocks for an eye watering £127.00. In respect of how our club traditionally do business I have made them an offer of £80.00 by email, Just waiting for the r...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Its common knowledge Wenger sets a top value on players he targets and wont budge over it.
He sees himself as some sort of high priest of football economics and anyone that doesn't agree with him he deems unworthy of his time.

Re: The Giroud Question
I think I must have posted this so many times over the past 2 or 3 seasons I could probably cut and paste it. It stems from the centre backs, if you opt for Mertesacker, (and who thinks Wenger wont?) then you need 2 (mostly) holding midfielders to protect him from his non-existent pace, a rigid 4-4-...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
So now we know why he praised Giroud's performances all through the euros's.
He thought it was his duty not to criticise any players from the club he works for.
The French tv company that gave him the summer job should demand their money back from Le Fraud.

Re: The ONLY Euro 2016 thread
Well done Aaron Ramsey made it into the best 11 players of the tournament. Nobody on here would be proud of that after all he is one of our own. :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: Just a shame that he is not as committed or enthusiastic wearing an Arsenal shirt. Sell him,(preferably to Swa...

Re: The Giroud Question
Amazed if Puma keep him in a boot contract, unless those they supplied him last night had heavy weights attached to them.
Any defender bar Mertesacker would probably fancy catching him in a foot race.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Saw a few twitter posts tonight alleging the Dortmund coach said Mkhitaryan wanted an Arsenal move but Wenger got cold feet at the last moment,
Maybe nothing in it, as I cant find any links.

Re: The ONLY Euro 2016 thread
Tonights game has greatly enhanced Ramsey's reputation. He has been a stand out player in the tournament, playing in a position he prefers and that suits the team style. I noticed in the first game and a half he looked the player we know well, playing on the fringe of the game and trying a few fancy...
