You preach about open minded debate but show zero signs of it yourself and you dont see that as a problem - you dismiss conflicting opinions as nonsense or ridiculous so how open minded is that ? As a rule I dont really get into debate with people who dont have the maturity to have a reasonable debate and that is why I didnt bother responding to your post, but when you start preaching to others about the need to be open minded, then that is where I draw the line. You and one or two others seem so blinded with an agenda against certain members (me being one of them), that adult debate is impossible for you
I don’t mind you Augie but you are dismissive of others views. This place should be a melting pot of different views and as long as it’s reasonably good natured it should be allowed to carry on as such without any refereeing. Micro managing it in favour of a certain clique has killed it.
All forum members are equal, but some are more equal than others ?
Tying your flag to a racist's boat huh, Stu?

Wow, genuinely thought that was beneath you.

Read what that racist posted when he got owned in a slagging match by a couple posters:

I doubt it sunshine. The only paddies round here are either flytipping the country lanes or robbing pensioners of their hard earned.
Then compare that to a couple of people firing off "you Argie bastard" in anger during the heat of a match.

Can you see the difference?

The racist that posted the first comment was warned and banned for a week because that is a hard-core racist comment. He got off light.

The couple of posters that used the "Argie" term were warned and had their posts deleted.

That's called modding with consideration for the tone, content, and context of the post.

Should I just ban everyone that posts something unpleasant? There are degrees of abuse and degrees of insult. And the punishment is also done in degrees.

How is that tying my flag to a racist’s boat ? 🤣 I’ve quoted Bobby P’s post and then added my own comment.

It’s a parady of Animal Farm’s “all pigs are equal but some are more equal than others “

That other post was quite rightly removed yet, you have chosen, deliberately to repost it ? Thus putting it on display again, :rubchin:
It was never removed. For the very reason it's requoted here. When every modding decision is questioned or whined about.

When I heard the forest move had broken down due to personal terms I thought it was due to wages and we were going to be stuck with him.

However the emergence of the palace rumours soon after has me feeling very confident about things again as that most likely accounts for him pulling out of the Forest deal as I’d imagine staying in London is more appealing.

At least that’s the fucking hope anyway!

I drove past Eddie’s place this morning. He was having his driveway resurfaced by a group of the most charming and intellectually gifted fellows. Real upstanding citizens they were. His old driveway had already been meticulously dug up and taken to the local dump where they paid the business rates charge for dumping in full. No mess was left anywhere. It was a real professional job.

Based on this information I believe he is staying at Arsenal or moving to another club in London.

🔵🔴 Eddie Nketiah, open to join Crystal Palace as deal will depend on club to club agreement.

Initial talks on personal terms taking place but there are more clubs keen, as situation is still open.

Nketiah, fully expected to leave Arsenal in the final days. (@FabrizioRomano)

Listen, if you can't respond in an adult debate without name calling like a child because you are wrong, do everyone a favour and don't respond. There's a good lad.
I was responding to Augie sir and you decided to stick your oar in, in some power trip. Now you’re accusing me of juvenile behaviour. Do you not see the irony? I’m pretty sure Augie can defend himself in argument without needing you to rescue him.

Football has moved on since the 90s and players have evolved. Try to be a bit more open minded when discussing modern players.

Can I say emphatically that IF there is a clique on here then I have never been invited to join - yeas ago there were rumours of a clique amongst a few of the more established members on here, but most of them have left (  ) and I think "the clique" is like extra terrestrials in that it will remain a myth until proof is provided of its existence. I will also add that imo I am not clique material - my views would always be seen as radical and different from mainstream (something I am quite comfortable with 8) , cos what would be the point of a forum if everyone had same opinion ? Usually I think I am respectful of peoples opinions that I disagree with, but of course there are times that I cross the line and am wrong when I do so. By same token I recognise that I am a litmus paper for some on here who seem to make it their life mission to dig me out on here - one absolute w*nker decided a long time to make it personal with me, and rarely posts on here but when he does he usually finds some way to have a dig at me. People like him I have no respect for cos he is the type of c.unt that if I declared the cone boy a genius, he would do a u turn just out of spite, but if that floats his boat then so be it and I will for most part ignore him, however I can see signs of others joining with him
Common augie you love the attention...;)

As for thr clique its what did for poor old quartz I reckon he got too deep. Be careful. But then I like a good conspiracy.

I always thought it was some exclusive area of the site where you got to see taxi drivers having a shit in the nude. Or something about cowboy hats but that was before my time.

I thought the first rule of the clique, is that you don't talk about the clique

there is a clique Augie you don't get invited you just end up in it and then you can never leave :D
If there was a clique (there is there is! ) then augie ain't getting in because he is a bald bastard and the shine off his dome is blinding to the extent it could blind the other members of said clique. If there was a clique. Which there isn't.

*went a bit "No Country For Old Men" there at the end...
