Have to agree, I thought we were bang on today, although as expected flagged a little as frustration set inrtpgooner wrote:Here are some videos from the fans view at todays game.

thought the atmosphere was excellent, constant songs and good banter with the cardiff fans.
Todays atmosphere
who were they playing again, oh yeah that's right their rivals. that's like us playing spurs, so obviously they will be loud. and OBVIOUSLY you didn't watch liverpool vs bolton/ blackburn/fulham etc. and when they were shit. you're just one of the tv pundits who constantly goes on about liverpool having the best atmosphere time and time again. plus being an away scheme member i went to chelsea and west ham away, and surprise surprise they were shit. heres a link for you:Gooner Jim wrote:did u not hear the kop, were u watching the match on muteThey maybe wernt at their best but were still louder than we have been this season, although chelsea and west ham was good atmospheres

Not just you Gooner Jim. To be honest I think it often has a lot to do with the ammount of microphones around the ground. I dont remember seeing many near our end, so I would have thought this could effect how it sounds on TVGooner Jim wrote:It sounds great on these vids but on setanta it didnt seem as loud for some reason, does anyone else see notice that or once again is it just melebob1988 wrote:Have to agree, I thought we were bang on today, although as expected flagged a little as frustration set inrtpgooner wrote:Here are some videos from the fans view at todays game.

Im off to bed but to finish off,
I think our away support is good, but I think liverpool is the loudest (but at times not the most consistant tbf). I think on tv for some reason it doesnt seem as loud as it is at the actuall match, I also find this for home matches, especially when Im in the red action area. Till 2mrrw I bid u good day

Yes in the 92/93 home shirt. It's still too depressing how my hair has gone and left me.

Don't have Setanta so can't comment on how we sounded on TV. But the noise from us was quite good yesterday. Yeah there were the anti-scum songs which I have no problem with at all. They are our biggest rivals and as an Arsenal fan you should take every opportunity to rip the piss out of them, no matter who we're playing. But as Karel says there were a good variety of songs about England, sheep, some Cardiff fan's wife who was giving it large.
First half and about 10 minutes into the second half, the noise from us was very good. It died thereafter as we all realised how shit the game was.
But it was great to go to a good old-fashioned stadium with terracing only. Summary; very good but not excellent.

They're ok - nothing special. Arsenal just don't have enough people who want to sing
