Todays atmosphere

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

who were they playing again, oh yeah that's right their rivals. that's like us playing spurs, so obviously they will be loud. and OBVIOUSLY you didn't watch liverpool vs bolton/ blackburn/fulham etc. and when they were shit. you're just one of the tv pundits who constantly goes on about liverpool having the best atmosphere time and time again. plus being an away scheme member i went to chelsea and west ham away, and surprise surprise they were shit. heres a link for you:

Not just you Gooner Jim. To be honest I think it often has a lot to do with the ammount of microphones around the ground. I dont remember seeing many near our end, so I would have thought this could effect how it sounds on TV

Im off to bed but to finish off,
I think our away support is good, but I think liverpool is the loudest (but at times not the most consistant tbf). I think on tv for some reason it doesnt seem as loud as it is at the actuall match, I also find this for home matches, especially when Im in the red action area. Till 2mrrw I bid u good day :barscarf:

Yes in the 92/93 home shirt. It's still too depressing how my hair has gone and left me. :(

Don't have Setanta so can't comment on how we sounded on TV. But the noise from us was quite good yesterday. Yeah there were the anti-scum songs which I have no problem with at all. They are our biggest rivals and as an Arsenal fan you should take every opportunity to rip the piss out of them, no matter who we're playing. But as Karel says there were a good variety of songs about England, sheep, some Cardiff fan's wife who was giving it large.

First half and about 10 minutes into the second half, the noise from us was very good. It died thereafter as we all realised how shit the game was.

But it was great to go to a good old-fashioned stadium with terracing only. Summary; very good but not excellent.

gus ceasar is a legend wrote:I must admit I was slightly embarrased by the constant Tottingham songs.

Why the fuck sing to Cardiff "We hate Tottingham, we are the Tottingham haters"?

:?

It doesn't help when there are so few Arsenal players that we care enough about to create & sing decent songs about.

This is true they didnt. When Cardiff sang it came off loud.
You could hear numerous efforts from us but the sound was dimmed.

You really want us to watch these rtp dont you :D

They're ok - nothing special. Arsenal just don't have enough people who want to sing
