And also don't forget that North London isn't theirs either, so that part is also weak.LDB wrote:Instead of fuck off they do "say no to Stratford" which is weak imo.TheCook wrote:I am still convinced that the whole Stratford thing is leverage for Haringey to bend over backwards to keep them in the borough by approving the WHL plans.
A part of me would miss them if they left![]()
Spurs fans have been singing about it, but as far as I can work out it is the same song of 'Fuck off to Stratford, North London is ours' ??
Scum fans changing their tune

It's too much and too far gone for a smoke screen. The olympic stadium plans have been submitted so are we saying that this is a ruse to get Harringay to budge?flash gunner wrote:I agree i think its a smoke screen to allow them to get whatever they want at SHLTheCook wrote:I am still convinced that the whole Stratford thing is leverage for Haringey to bend over backwards to keep them in the borough by approving the WHL plans.

That would be the mother of all cuntiness if they win the bid and then pull out as they get there way with Harringay.
No, they properly in for Stratford now.
As Levy's said it's Stratford or bust. Even If they lose the stratford bid Harringay could up the re-development costs of the area. It's already too costly for them.
They've even totally shelved plans to re-develope SHL. Made it clear that moving out is their only option now.

I think that both bids had to put up a sizeable security (in the millions), to insure against this.Boomer wrote:It's too much and too far gone for a smoke screen. Still, if Haringey could provide benefits that outweigh that money, then they'd pull out anyway - although it looks unlikely, if spurs have gone this far already.

At the moment there's no way they can afford to stay at SHL that includes re-developing.

You ok STG? Calm down, have a cup of tea, doom is not inevitable, the sky might not fall in tommorow, ,but it might, and we might get relegated next week, and we might all be swallowed up by a giant earthworm in three minutes.....Boomer wrote:fixing it for you.stg wrote:Have we made a profit on those flats? we could of been in a much better position if the board didnt.............STOP stop stop what am I doing!!!!!!!!QuartzGooner wrote:Our stadium cost £225M.stg wrote: It cost Arsenal £390 million to move and build at Ashburton Grove Stratford hotspurs could get the same for £250 million!!!!

stg is right. It cost £390m for the move, with the total coming in at £470m for the "entire project" which i would assume would be the flats and the property development.QuartzGooner wrote:Our stadium cost £225M.stg wrote: It cost Arsenal £390 million to move and build at Ashburton Grove Stratford hotspurs could get the same for £250 million!!!!
