Why have they submitted a bid in Euros when we use £s?mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 18, 2022 4:03 pmArsenal have today submitted a €42.5m offer for Gabriel Jesus which they are confident Manchester City will accept.

No it would mean holding goes , Saliba is right sided, you need 4 good centre backs.TeeCee wrote: ↑Sat Jun 18, 2022 2:11 pmSo it's confirmed we have made a bid for another CB!??
Lisandro Martinez is a left footed CB at Ajax, just what we need, another CB!!I assume this means Saliba will be 4th choice? So he'll fuck off soon.
Hopefully it just means some mug wants to offer us 40-50m for Gabriel Mag. I wouldn't mind him going, I'm not convinced at all by him.
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
How underwhelming to have Eddie the feather signing another contract , he is shite .
Maybe Lego head is thinking if it all goes tits up well we have the Feather up front .

I hate to say this (well kind of) but Farage the racist cun.t would be more effective as a striker than Eddie the feather.DB10GOONER wrote: ↑Sat Jun 18, 2022 5:01 pmOops Nigel Farage moment....Midz wrote: ↑Sat Jun 18, 2022 4:07 pmWhy have they submitted a bid in Euros when we use £s?mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 18, 2022 4:03 pmArsenal have today submitted a €42.5m offer for Gabriel Jesus which they are confident Manchester City will accept.

As for Jesus, he is soooo NOT the kind of striker we need, they should have gone for Ivan Toney if Brighton , no w He IS going to put away the goals next season.

All the talk of Clive going is getting my hopes up and I just know I'll be crushed when the cùnt runs out for the first game next season wearing the captain's armband.

It is believed Arsenal & the Ivorian are keen for this to happen - but the club would want to see a reasonable return on their record signing. [@TheAthleticUK] #afc

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Good logical move by the club.
Sign him on and if he doesn't work out sell him for a fee or let him go for nothing ?
A new contract doesn't make him our number 1 striker any more than splurging a fortune on an established forward from another European league guarantees anything.
We need a squad and he is a member of it . If he turns out to be a useful 20 minute player so be it . We are not in a position to buy our way to success we just have to keep shuffling the pack.
