I’ve said this time and time again now. We are in a sweet spot to win fuck all.

We are above the likes of the Europa League but never going to win the Champions League. We are after the League (tough) and then the two domestic cups. You need a bit of luck to win those. I actually don’t see us winning anything else with Arteta. Just don’t see it happening. His chance to do it has already passed and he blew them all.

Firstly, like them or loathe them, they're not the scum. Secondly, I don't think their fans will treat it as the big deal that scum fans will treat this win. Thirdly, no CL place with the trophy. Fourth, they aren't in the desperate financial mess that the scum are in and this CL qualification will seriously help them.

I for one, would rather the chavs don't win it, but won't lose a minutes sleep if they do.

My main thing was finances retro, but it's not going to make that much difference. Had they not chucked in the league to focus they would likely be same place financially.

The scum will get 11 million for finishing 17th. a 6th place finish would have got them 42 million, so a 31 million shortfall.

I believe we got something like 100 for qualifying for the CL knock out phase. They are the numbers that the scum now have the possibility of achieving and that blows away the figure for a PL finish. That's why I'm pissed off. I wanted them to get a 17th place finish, 11 million and no CL place, because that would have dumped them into an even bigger financial hole.

I'm also pissed off that they won a trophy and I'm sorry, but I think the rationalising of it on here as "it's worthless, it's like the Autoglass trophy, blah bah", while maybe true, is only people trying to console themselves. And are we pssd off that whomever one the fa trophy or ldv vans and we didn't? If not why not? Are we pssd of when Chelsea win the conference or when west ham won it? No we laughed at west ham as did the scum.

Are we losing our shit about palace winning the fa cup? No. Yet that a decent achievement evens despite it's devalued status of big clubs not taking as seriously as they once did.

It's the zenith data systems of Europe. Don't have to achieve anything to enter and the better teams are excluded. Even the league cup has more cachet/difficulty.

Have them something meaningful and then we can beat the club with it.

But they do care. That's the point. The ones I know do atvleast. As soon as the quality and standard and conditions are mentioned they get arsey. It's like Liverpool's COVID title or cities buying the league. Although people actually care about the league so not a perfect comparison. Can’t understand the logic here. Do you bedwetters not see the fact that by being in the Champions League we have an almost Everest like task to win it? Yet you can qualify for Europa and have a much easier task to win a trophy?

What do you want Arsenal to do? Should we drop our standards so we can qualify for Europa or the Conference League? Then we should win either of them. We had all this in previous seasons and came up short in the Final and in the Semi but that was when it was a tough thing to win. You had the likes of Atletico Madrid in it or Chelsea when we lost the Semi and Final.
