Keown. There's only one Keown. There's only one Keown.

My thoughts on this game:

Wolves are playing pretty well at the moment. They looked good at the Bridge and Chelsea laboured to beat them. Same against Man U and it was another late goal that stole it from them. And they beat City and by all accounts deservedly so. They will definitely think they ...

You have to assume that Keown did or said something that got under AW's skin, or was considered a threat to Pat Rice.

2 years ago, before his BBC contract, MK was doing his coaching badges and coaching Oxford University first XI. The guy is plainly cut out for a coaching/managerial career. Who ...

Arsene Wenger is going about it the right way?

Excuse me, but how is ignoring the importance of defending and refusing to appoint a competent defensive coach going about it the right ...

West Brom

The Baggies have had 2 good results in the last week and they'll be playing with confidence. I agree we have much more to offer than they have, but I'm not sure it will be that easy. we can be a bit slow starting after a midweek game. may be 2-0 or 2-1.

let's all laugh at tottnum, let's all laugh ...

My seats will be empty. If the team cant be arsed, neither can I. Maybe the announcement that the attendance is 60,010 when the stadium is half empty will bring some gallows humour to the occasion.

The wage bill is already excessive, so we will have to unload players in order to buy. Who would you release from the squad, and who would you keep as a useful back up squad member?

I would release the Spanish waiter and Flappy (buy a new No.1 and then have Szczesny and Mannone), Sylvestre, Eduardo ...

City have got exactly the right game to rip us apart. Even before the last catastrophic week I have been worried about this game (on the assumption it might matter to our chances of winning - haha). The reason we have been thrashed by them the last 3 games is a good reason.

I agree that Song Diaby Denilson will be exactly what Porto are praying for. Based on what I saw on Sat, play Nasri in the cesc role, keep Theo for sub. We could easily have 120 mins to play.

Ramsay - a lawyer speaks

I dont think that Brian Dawes is approaching this the right way.

The point is a simple one. Of course Shawcross did not intend to break Ramsey's leg. But he was utterly and culpably reckless in the way that he made the tackle. Liability both in criminal law and civil law exists where, in the ...

Very interesting thread this. I thought I was pretty high up the list of the "do something urgently" brigade, but there is clearly a lot of strong feeling, and it is not the product of one bad performance - we have seen it coming for years.

Simple fact: no one, other than AW, believes that this ...

Would be delighted with any sort of result, but realistically ...... the best that can be hoped for is a further demonstration of how inadequate this team is - how lacking in fight and determination, how devoid of any sort of tactical appreciation of the game and the opposition, how unable to play ...

Tantalisingly close, yes, but without reinforcements we will not win it. That is what makes the stubbornness of refusing to interfere with "the team I created" so desperately disappointing. I hope that anyone who doubted that we need to buy a world class goalkeeper was at Ashburton Grove yesterday ...

Apparently, we dont need PV4. We have young players who can do what he can do. My a**e. I would very much like to have PV4 to play at: Bolton (a), Stoke (a) (FAC), Hull (a), Stoke (a) and Birmingham (a), and that is just up to the end of March. Who would rather have Denilson or an exhausted Song for ...

Easy to say it now, I know, but I have been saying for 2 years that Walcott wont make it because he doesnt have a football brain. When he should run into space, he comes short, when he should come inside, he stays out, when he should pass the ball, he runs with it, etc. How he scored a hat trick for ...
