Arsenal over the years have been split into many different fractions. WOB Army, AKB's, Usmanov in, Usmanov out & Usmanov shake-it-all-about and more.
Many fans straddle the same views and Vice versa
For example many share the same opinion to the direction of the board or lack of trust to the board ...

Re:
Kevin Campbell was dynamite when he broke into the first team
I thought he was average personally but yes he was something different when he broke through. Pure physical strength but thought he was lucky on goal. Many of his shots (you watch them!) were blasted towards goal with the majority at ...

Re: City / Citeh Drinking and match thread
When you look deeper into the stats you can see he's sitting and holding as a DM. Which may explain why we didn't see Arteta as we're used to
You are correct and it depends on who the other midfield player is with Arteta, if like Sunday it is Diaby you will see Arteta sitting further back(watch ...

Re: City / Citeh Drinking and match thread
Many may not share my opinion but I thought Arteta had a pretty poor game today, according to his standards. I won't be too much on his back since he's been nothing but outstanding since the begining of the season. But today he was a bit below. Quite a few misplaced passes, sometimes caught out of ...

Re: LEAGUE CUP V COVENTRY CITY
called up Arsenal today to ask where my tickets were and was told to use my season ticket even though im in a different block, sounds odd.
Perfectly normal.
The season ticket is just a membership card. The card would have been assigned to a different block & seat for the one game.

Ah Great! That solves my "Squillaci on the bench" conundrum.Red Member wrote:Really this is such a non game he could put anybody out there, even Steve Bould and we would still win.

Re: LEAGUE CUP V COVENTRY CITY
Quite a few 1st team fringe players haven't had much/any game time.
Giroud
Theo
Santos
Djourou
Coquelin
Arshavin
Even Squillaci!
The Midfields a tricky one as AW tends to opt for experience to balance the youth.

Re: SOUTHAMPTON HOME THREAD
Maybe this should have it's own thread (even a poll?) but as it's to do with the Soton match I'll stick it in here.
Redaction have said that many fans have mentioned to them that we should sing "You'll never Walk alone" at around 3.06pm
I'm sure many of you will disagree but I think this would be ...

Re: Penalty
Too many think a if it's not a pen then it's a dive and bookable.richpye wrote:What I don't get is why Webb didn't book Suarez? No real punishment for diving
There's 3 degree's
A foul, which is a pen.
No foul (fair tackle), with contact. No Pen.
A Dive. Bookable offence.
The 2nd is often forgotten about.

Re: First scorer - Each way (?)
Bad example but tonights game Oxford Vs Swindon.
(Ladbrokes)
Shortest odds for a correct score is a 1-0 away win @ 15/2
The shortest odds for a Swindon player to score first is @ 5/1
So if you were in for either of those it's worth an extra bet, even if it's a quid, as the scorecast is @ 28/1

Re: First scorer - Each way (?)
we dont take ew bets on first scorer, in fact no one has ever even asked for it. we do a good few anytime scorer and they are very profitable as the odds are very low and the chance of your player not scoring, injured, been subbed is very high
