Re: THE FRANKSAV MUSIC THREAD
Am in Tokyo a ce moment, but couldn’t resist adding my views.
Dylan is peerless imo.
Fave song is probably Jokerman, or maybe Don’t Think Twice …
Fave album is prob Street Legal.

All credit to Eddie, didn't he say he was leaving Arsenal 'because he wanted to win trophies'?

A lot of talk regarding Kiwior as a weak link over the last few days. And prior to last time too.
The guy is first choice CB for Poland and only not got many chances at Arsenal due to form of Gabriel and Saliba. But before his undeniable run of excellence, Gabriel did actually make the odd mistake ...

If one of Arsenal and Everton was to win 3-0 tonight, and the other was to lose 3-0, which would you choose?
Not straightforward, been pondering all afternoon.

Arteta: "It's just half time [in the tie]. When I see the team playing and how we deal with a lot of situations, playing against a very good team, I have full belief that we can go out there and do it."
In the same way I have full belief that tonight Miss World is going to finally track me ...

Re: THE FRANKSAV MUSIC THREAD
Posted on here a few times over the years regarding Marillion, imo one of the very greatest bands of the last 30 years.
Most will know the Misplaced Childhood album, in the Fish-era, which is still one of my top 5 all-time albums.
Post-Fish, with Steve Hogarth, they are lesser known maybe, but ...

I am sure it's been said already but the legal costs ramifications for the PL would be catastrophic if City get off, or just receive a slapped wrist. I read their KC is on £5000 per hour and the 'hearing' is set to last 10 weeks. The PL is probably using a 'no win no fee' ambulance-chasing sort of ...

Redcrap and Merse got it spot on.
Timber's reckless challenge was potentially career-ending and has no place on the football field.
I thought he deliberately set out to injure a fellow professional, and the fellow was lucky to escape with the very slightest of touches on his leg.

If we are going down memory lane....
In July 1996 I went up to the Highbury Box Office and asked to buy two season tickets for the forthcoming season.

Went to St Martins In The Field when I was in uni - One of the most memorable concerts was by The Sixteen (*) when they performed "Miserere Mei Deus"... Probably the most beautifully, haunting Choral work I have ever heard; especially Live, I still get goosebumps when I remember it now. I am ...

True, Here Comes the Flood is immense and still as haunting today as it was when first released, the opening is 'spine tinglingly' beautiful.
Yeah! Aqualung would raise more than a few eyebrows today...
Must admit Close To The Edge is still my favourite album... But Different strokes etc ...

I see Mbappe gone to Real, £128m signing on fee and £13m per year.
Bit overpriced, could have got two Nicolas Pepe's for that, and played one on each wing.

Re: THE FRANKSAV MUSIC THREAD
Lots to think about!
