Re: Bayern Home

Same old story in the CL. We exist in this state of flux where we're just good enough to scrape in to the CL each May (thank fuck for Koscielny at Newcastle eh? ), secure the £40m but never bother to use it to give us a fighting chance to win anything. Screw up the group, get dicked in the ...

Re: Bayern Home

How sad is it that so many people are thinking Yaya is doing pretty well........yes he's been 'ok', but that's a real indictment of the crap we've been used to with Giroud for much of the season. Yaya hasn't really threatened the goal at all in two games!! We are so desperate to see someone up ...

Re: Bayern Home

We started better than I expected but why were so poor after the red card?

Imagine the reverse, imagine the first leg was in Munich and their keeper is sent off a few mins before half time and Arsenal miss the pen so the teams go in 0-0. Would Munich have come out in the 2nd half and just offer ...

Re: WENGER - Views For and Against.

Last night yet again showing why Wenger needs to go, Bayern were there for the taking, yet Pod and Giroud on bench and the postman up front, fucking insane. Go down to 10 men and defending for our lives, but Ozil stays on the pitch.
All goes to prove any "success" we are having in the league, fa ...

Re: Bayern Home

Here's an email I recieved from AISA regarding the card display:

TONIGHT'S MATCH v BAYERN MUNICH - REMINDER

REDaction have been working with Arsenal to organise a card display for the Bayern game – covering the whole stadium with red and white cards. These are not cheap to organise, but they ...

Re: FA CUP THREAD Liverpool

For example, if Arsenal were allowed to stream this Saturday's game against Sunderland live on .com for a fee of £5 then fans from across the globe are likely to give the dodgy, unreliable streams a miss and pay the few quid to watch the game officially. If these costs were split between the Clubs ...

Re: FA CUP THREAD Liverpool

The 3pm blackout seems very archaic and unecessary these days. Most pubs that show football will have access to some moody foreign channel showing most games live at 3pm anyway, and then of course there are the internet streams.

The notion that someone wont go and watch a lower level game because ...

Re: Groundhog transfer deadline day thread

I may have been drunk but i think i saw a headline over here saying Wenger has 253m available to spend next window.

Did i dream this or was it actually stated?

Saw something similar myself but I think it had been converted to AUD so approx 130m pounds. Can't remember where I saw it either, but ...

Re: Arsene Wenger is a 'SPECIALIST IN FAILURE- Jose Mourinho

"The best thing about Mourinho's comments was how he conveniently ignored the fact that Arsenal had to fork out hundreds and millions for a new stadium. Funds were naturally going to be tight for the next few seasons. And yet Wenger STILL managed to secure top 4 finishes every season...despite ...

"You learn from failure, that is for sure. Especially intelligent people. Some ...

Re: FA CUP THREAD Liverpool

I'm surprised more hasn't been made of Sterlings 'push' on Webb - Petit was sent off by Durkin (and to this day I cannot forget the glee in his face when he sent him off, he was absolutely delighted) for far less contact.

Any other player than Gerrard and that would have been a second yellow ...
