Why is 4th place good enough when, not that long ago, if we finished 4th it would be seen as a bad year?
This^^

Don't you lads know?

It's the Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City money. We can't compete, can't catch up.

Why are Man Utd always included in this list? When did they get a cash injection ...

Because the present board will not sack Wenger and he wont walk away from £7m a year.

That's an Uzbek "businessman" sledgehammer to crack a nut. I'm not convinced that the desperation to be rid of Wenger should lead us to look on Usmanov as something good for Arsenal in the long term. We would ...

Even if you are prepared to look past Usamnov's background (and I'm not), what are the advantages of him coming in is? The advantages seems to be that

a) He will not tolerate failure and is therefore likely to get rid of Wenger :barscarf:
b) The "self sustainable" model can be ditched and we can ...

The reaction to these kind of protests was dealt with rather well on Newswipe last year (go to 3:20 in);

[quote="sycicsid"]I look at the table and think…

We have

* No Fabregas
* No Van Persie
* No Bendtner
* No Clichey, Gibbs or Traore
* No Rosicky

which is a fairly big injury list. Laughingly Match of the Day changed their tune this week and said that Arsenal had been quietly plodding away ...

Meant to post this ages ago. The original story in this case was nothing but bullshit; http://www.cambridge-news.co.uk/cn_news ... ?id=460831

When did anyone start believing anything in the tabloids?

That's an argument for change, not an argument for Usmanov.

You mention he is shrewd businessman, but how do you know that? What financial success does he have outside of a corrupt Russian/former soviet republic economy?

It was a dive, but they did go about it far too much.

However, I did enjoy the tension in the studio as Daglish started going on a crazy rant about foreigners, everyone was clearly worried there might be an "Atkinson" comment. Nearly as stupid as Strachan's comments on Sky in the first leg about ...

I've watched the goals from the game and there were several beauties there. I found Jenas' the most pleasurable. Bit of an over-reaction from fellow Arsenal fans, though expected. We already know deep down that (1) we aren't going to win the league this year and (2) we have a defence that basically ...

Justified his wages? Apart from good work in creating the first goal he did little to justify why he thinks so highly of himself. The badge kissing was disgusting, as were the morons that sang his name (after only moments earlier calling him a useless c*nt).

What is wrong with you lot? Who gives a fuck whether it was a penalty or not? Don't you see? If you concede four goals in a European tie, you're asking for trouble. The 'Hoof also missed good chances. Our strikeforce is frustrating at times, but we are scoring goals. Our defence is fucking shocking ...
