True, but it doesn't have to be so.

IMO Arsenal should have been forced as part of the planning consent to contribute to the cost of upgrading the local transport infrastructure.

I remember reading in an early draft of the plans for the new ground that the club were going to have to fund the ...

Highbury was a football ground, The Emirates is a sports stadium. Arsenal have built themselves a sports stadium surrounded by infrastructure that was barely capable of supporting a football ground, hence the severe match-day congestion.

I grew up in Hertfordshire and currently live in Berkshire ...

I will be turning up on Sunday, in the hope that the team does as well!

Last season's game against Chelsea with Gallas scoring the winner was lots of fun.

If we see another spineless performance, I will be back in the Coronet by 4.30pm.

FAN WHEN WE'RE WINNING. YOUR JUST A FAN WHEN WE'RE ...

JUST A QUICK QUESTIONS FOR THOSE THAT VOTED WITH THEIR FEET.

WILL YOU BE ATTENDING THE REMAINING GAMES?

IF SO WHY?

n7: what I actually said was "If we are as poor against Chelski on Sunday, I doubt I will still be there at HT!", and I stand by that.

As regards to the location of the new ground, it would have been much more convenient for the majority of Arsenal supporters (a significant majority of whom live ...

Nasris has been inconsistent, but he is a high-quality player, and will improve for the Premier League experience next year IMO.

There is no point in trying to compare Nasri with Pires. Bobby was unique player, and we could all watch the Arse for the next 50 years without seeing that same kind of ...

I am sure that there will be a big turnover of season tickets this year, what with the credit-crunch and another "nearly" season.

However, the waiting list can certainly take up the slack.

N7 you are getting really boring on this. You are right, you are the only true supporter on here, all the rest of us are just JCLs and plastic fans, even if we have been going to games for 40 years. My admiration for you being the one and only true gooner knows no bounds and I will be starting a ...

It may not be right to leave early but I think people have every right to vote with their feet in a simlar way to those who voted with their voice and booed Eboue.

Lat night was one straw too many in terms of watching an Arsenal side roll over and die in a big game. We were given a Get Out of Jail ...

WE WONT MISS CESC IF HE LEFT!........WHY?
Because when he was out for that long-ish injury,Did we lose a game?

threw this idea at my mate last night after his shocking performance's since returning from injury!

Agreed.

Assuming we realise ...

Definite outs will be Ade and Gallas. Possibly no more.

Impossible to predict Wenger's recruitment plans, but he would never in a million years re-sign Flamini, or any other player who has left us. Just not his style.

I could imagine us just buying one experienced player, at centre-back. Plus a ...

Agreed.

Watching Chelski last week brought back memories of the mid 90's where we were virtually ubreachable at the back.

On reflection, we probably were only going to pull out a result last night about one time in a hundred.

It was almost inconceivable to think that we could commit players ...

Imbecile

Neogunner, I can't believe that morons like you are allowed to post nonsense like this on the gooner website. You are clearly a Spud that has slipped through what laughably passes for a net at the gooner!

I agree that Wenger's blind faith in Gallas has landed us in the current predicament, but you ...
