Away fans can do what they like.

Home fans have to sit down and shut up.


so you would like every ground to employ a large number of extra stewards to steward the away end & have constant running battles with the away fans ...

It still seems , IMO. to be an awful lot more stewards than we used to have at Highbury, even when we had standing sections.

If the law says we need 700 at the Grove, then that's fair enough.

What about the question of MAKING AWAY ...

Why do we need 900 stewards for a crowd of 60,000?

That's ridiculous.

Roughly 1 steward for every 6 supporters.

Tell you what. Stick the excess stewards in the away section. Make THEM sit down and shut up!

And, while I'm on the subject, DO NOT EMPLOY SPURS SUPPORTERS AT OUR STADIUM, they must ...

i just wanted to point out that it was the swearing & not the standing or signing that caused the problems
it was the number of very young children (lots in there under 8 ...

its a football match what do u expect. no where says you cant swear at a game.
yeah they did warn us about getting kicked out but how could they just kick out 1 or 2 when everyone was singing. our stewards....

it's in the ground regulations for every football stadium

i was in block 13
the kids in block 11 & 12 did create a great atmosphere
it wasn't the singing or the standing that caused the problems - but the songs with swearing in them
there were lots of very young children there last night

the stewards did recieve a lot of complaints from parents about the ...

dunno - £200 at a guess - but it will be very similar price to travel club (probably a bit cheaper)

wait till they both announce prices & see which airport they are using, times they are going/getting back etc & pick the one that's best for you

who are sportingoptions!?

they organise trips to all european away games & england away games. they do other trips too for rugby, motor racing etc. Usually they give out fliers around highbury. My mates who have been with them say they are a bit more relaxed then the travel club - but do similar ...

sportoptions are planing to run a trip - but haven't got details on their sight yet (says check tomorrow) - they are usually a bit cheaper then the travel club

i haven't used them but mates have & said they are good
